The Special Session Isn’t Happening. Why?
Two weeks ago, the Governor thwarted the will of the people by torpedoing multiple popular, critical, and common sense pieces of legislation. Thanks to Legislative Leadership, he was able to kill these bills without any ability for the Legislature to override his decisions.
The Wyoming Freedom Caucus called for a Special Session of the Wyoming Legislature to re-assert the body as a co-equal branch of government— the Senate approved the Special Session in a vote of 16-15, but the House killed it 27-35.
