New Biden Climate Mandates
And how Gordon's carbon capture nonsense invited them...
To celebrate “Earth Week” (we thought it was always just “Earth Day”), Biden and his army of bureaucrats announced that it is considering declaring a “climate emergency” in order to unlock extra powers to fight the so-called “climate crisis.”
We all know what the government does when it accesses illegal “emergency” powers.
The Regime pondered this decision while using the alphabet soup agencies to promulgate a series of mandates that threaten Wyoming’s legacy industries and America’s energy security:
An anti-coal rule that will effectively shutter all Wyoming coal mines
A public lands rule that creates profits out of non-use of lands
Increased fees, royalty rates, and bonding requirements for energy production
Governor Gordon threatened legal action while refusing to condemn the efficacy of these radical policies.
We just hope he’s sincere on the threat.
