This week, the Wyoming Freedom Caucus sent more key bills to the Senate with huge majorities.
Universal school choice passed 39-21— and the White House has noticed.
A ban on unattended ballot drop boxes passed 51-10.
Protections of Wyoming’s western heritage from woke environmental activists passed 53-8.
If you happened to watch the goings on in the House chambers all week, you may be surprised that these bills passed with such flying colors. Many of the loudest (and longest) detractors who stomped their feet during debate ended up voting FOR these measures.
Notice a pattern?
The insiders were beat at the ballot box, but they’re still trying their best to thwart the people’s agenda through tag-team filibusters from Representatives Lloyd Larsen (Fremont), Bob Nicholas (Laramie), Steve Harshman (Natrona), Julie Jarvis (Natrona), and more.
Correcting Fake News
The liberal media and remaining RINOs are trading talking points, claiming that Wyoming public education is being dismantled by the WYFC fighting to provide school choice to parents in Wyoming. The reality is that the WYFC-led Appropriations Committee has proposed raises to teachers while cutting wasteful spending by $235,000,000. Check out pages 64-65 of the budget bill.
Did You Know…
The Wyoming Library Association has come out swinging against common sense legislation to protect minors from pornography on public library shelves. Show up on Monday morning to defend the innocence of children in Capitol Extension Room E0001.
Keep fighting! Thanks for the update!
Another good report. Thank you
